One More River To Cross - After the tragic flooding of New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina, the Gretna Police Department threatened the lives of thousands of residents trying to cross the Crescent City Connection bridge into the city of Gretna. One year later, in remembrance of that day, Rosetta Harris is determined to cross the bridge in protest and takes action the only way she knows how : a march that recalls her proudest days fighting in the Civil Rights movement.

Welcome to the official website for "The Olive Branch" motion picture.

We are happy to announce that our script recently took top honors at the 2010 Urban Mediamakers Film Festival in Atlanta, bringing home the trophy for Best Feature Length Screenplay. The script has also been awarded Honorable Mentions by the California Film Awards and the Los Angeles Movie Awards, finished Fourth at the Spirit Quest Film Festival, and received an Award of Merit from the Skyfest Film Festival in North Carolina. It was named an Official Selection of the Mountain Film Festival, the LifeFest Film Festival and the Sacramento International Film Festival, and continues to place in contests around the world. We are currently seeking financial partners to help bring this award-winning story to the big screen.

Set in Shreveport, Louisiana, "The Olive Branch" tells the story of the modern day descendants of plantation owner Thomas Steele and Olive Dupré, one of his slaves. Recalling the relationship of Thomas Jefferson and Sally Hemmings, the script explores the questions of truth, right and true rights as it seeks to sort out complicated inheritance and relationship issues when two very
